Soilbuild makes foray into public housing by clinching its 1st BTO projectExpand
Soil-Build (Pte) Ltd, the integrated construction arm of Soilbuild Group Holdings Ltd has clinched its maiden public housing sector contract, having secured its very first Build-To-Order (BTO) project from the Housing Development Board.
Under the S$131 million contract, Soilbuild will manage the construction of Tampines GreenLeaf, a 9-block public housing development with extensive recreational facilities that residents can enjoy amid lushly landscaped surroundings. Work has already begun on site and Temporary Occupation Permit is expected to be obtained by 2014.
Capitalising on the strong push by the Singapore government to meet rising demand for public housing, as well as its experience and capabilities in producing high quality homes, Soilbuild will seek to bolster its portfolio of public sector construction projects and broaden the array of high quality construction services it offers. -

Solaris clinched PAM and WACA AwardsExpandSolaris, Soilbuild's flagship business space project has garnered two new Gold awards for design quality and functionality this year.
One of the awards, the 2011 Gold award in the Overseas category from Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia (PAM), is a biannual premier award for architecture in Malaysia which recognizes the contribution made by architects in terms of design quality.
Designed by T. R. Hamzah & Yeang Sdn Bhd, an international architecture firm based in Malaysia, Solaris also clinched the 2011 Gold Medal from the World Association of Chinese Architects. -

Soilbuild builds on recurrent income base with latest JTC tender winExpandThe Group's recurrent income base is further strengthened with its latest tender award win of four clusters of business space properties from Jurong Town Corporation (JTC).
The properties, costing the Group S$288.3 million, comprise 10 blocks of flatted factories and amenity centres situated at Kolam Ayer, Kallang Basin and Tai Seng. The acquired property, which is currently more than 90% occupied, will add approximately 130,000 sqm of business space for lease.
Soilbuild successfully clinched the sites after a rigorous two-stage tender exercise by JTC to secure an active private sector developer with an extensive development portfolio that can add value to Singapore's competitive and vibrant industrial property market. -

Montebleu receives honours at Asia Pacific Property Awards 2011ExpandMontebleu, one of Soilbuild's landmark residential developments, has bagged the "Highly Commended" award in the High-Rise Architecture Singapore category at the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2011. The 34-storey luxurious condominium was designed by Axis Architects Planners Pte Ltd (Axis).
The Asia Pacific Property Award 2011 was held in association with Bloomberg Television to pay tribute to outstanding achievements in architectural landmarks and icons in the region.
Soilbuild is once again partnering Axis in its latest exclusive prestigious residential development, Meier Suites, nestled along Meyer Road. Meier Suites was successfully launched in July 2009 and is still under construction.
