Mr Lim Chap Huat
Group Managing DirectorMr Lim co-founded Soilbuild with Mr Lee Choon Bu and Mr Fong Ying Wah in 1976, and has been instrumental in shaping its growth since he became Group Managing Director in 2001.
A 30-year veteran in property development and project management, he chairs the executive committee that charts the Group's strategic direction and capital management. Working closely with the other directors, he oversees every facet of the Group's operations and ongoing projects to ensure that Soilbuild's long-term goals are met. They continually review the Group's construction and design capabilities to encourage constant innovation and improvement.
A strong believer in community service, Mr Lim is the vice-chairman of the Citizens' Consultative Committee in Chong Pang. His many contributions were recognised in 2009 when he was conferred the Public Service Star.
Mr Ho Toon Bah
Executive DirectorWith more than 20 years' experience in banking and finance, Mr Ho plays a crucial role on the executive committee in helping to enforce prudent capital management and pinpoint the best business opportunities. His participation has also been critical to the management team's efforts to define and refine the Group's strategic goals.
Tasked with overseeing the Residential Space segment, he has established exciting new targets for the division, keeping it on course as a leading revenue contributor to the Group.
Before he left the banking industry, Mr Ho served as consumer banking head at Standard Chartered Bank in Malaysia. He is a chartered financial analyst as well.
Ms Leo Jee Lin
Executive Director, Marketing & Leasing DivisionMs Leo also serves as executive director of the Property Development arm. Moving beyond her experience in quantity surveying and project costing proved to be an astute choice. As head of the Marketing & Leasing division, which handles sales and leasing for all the Group's properties, she takes a hands-on approach in ensuring sustained revenue growth.
A Soilbuild stalwart since 1984, Ms Leo carefully oversees all its sales- and marketing-related activities, analysing every angle of the marketing campaigns and project launches, even showflat interiors, to ensure maximum appeal for potential buyers. She also supervises the management of sales and leasing contracts.
Ms Lim Cheng Hwa
Director, Capital Management DivisionWith more than 13 years of experience in the finance industry, Ms Lim leads the Capital Management division in its drive to keep the Group financially robust and armed with the resources to meet any challenge as Soilbuild presses ahead with new growth initiatives. She has overseen all the Group's financial, accounting, tax and treasury matters since becoming the unit's director in 2010. Business and investment development, corporate communications, human resources and administration fall under her purview as well. To help heighten the Group's public stature and profile, she also oversees its investor relations.
Before joining Soilbuild in 2007, Ms Lim was financial controller at MTQ Corporation.
Mr Chooi Yue Chiong
Head of Value EngineeringMr Chooi, having gained 20 years of experience in the construction industry, takes every care to ensure smooth, seamless operations at the Project & Construction Management arm, well aware of the critical role it plays in maintaining and elevating Soilbuild's standing in the industry. He also oversees the Group's quantity survey department. Project planning and deployment of key staff are other core areas that come under his domain.
Since he joined the Group in 2007, he has served as senior project manager for a wide variety of sites, overseeing both operations and quantity surveying. He is a registered safety officer, registered environmental control officer and fire safety manager.
Mr Ng Kwoon Hong
General Manager, Facilities Management DivisionMr Ng heads the Facilities Management arm, which handles maintenance management at all the Group's investment properties as well as design reviews for development projects.
Having successfully taken charge of a diverse range of residential and business space properties over the past two decades, he has been crucial in helping Soilbuild establish a reputation for quality and efficiency since he joined the company in 1986.
Mr Ng is versed in operations across the Group, including the Development Management arm, where he served as deputy general manager for six years.
Mr Patrick Ho
Deputy General Manager, Development Management DivisionAs head of of the Development Management arm, Mr Ho oversees its efforts to improve design development and project planning, as well as quality and contract management, at all the Group's properties. Here, his 20 years of experience in construction and property development have allowed him to help Soilbuild maintain its name for innovation and versatility.
Mr Ho has been intimately involved in many residential and business space developments for the Group since he joined Soilbuild in 1997. A trained quantity surveyor and site supervisor, he also knows its Project & Construction arm well, having been senior project manager there for four years.
Mr Yew Boon Cheat
Director, OperationsMr Yew joined Soilbuild in 2011 and heads the Group's project and construction management arm, overseeing its strategic and operational management. Backed by more than 14 years of experience in managing large scale construction projects in India, Singapore, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and the Philippines, he brings along key strengths in resource and project management.
Mr Yew built his career with various Singapore listed construction companies before becoming an independent project manager at PM Link, a subsidiary of CPG Corporation, and eventually heading CPG Consultants, India as Executive Director, Operations.
He is an engineer by training and holds a Master of Science in International Construction Management from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He is also a member of the Singapore Society of Project Managers.
